Unidos Contra La Diabetes (UCD) is a collective impact initiative, with community partners dedicated to raising awareness and prevention of type 2 diabetes in the Rio Grande Valley. UCD brings people together in a structured way to achieve social, behavioral, and sustainable community changes. As a collaborative, our mission is to prevent and reduce new incidences of type 2 diabetes in the Rio Grande Valley by 10% by 2030.
